New to the wheel? This 8-week class is a welcoming introduction to pottery, perfect for first-timers, or those looking to refresh the basics. You’ll learn how to center clay and throw simple cylindrical forms, which can be transformed into bowls, mugs, or vases. Sandra will guide you through each step of the process, including trimming, adding handles or surface details, and glazing your finished pieces. Expect a low-pressure, hands-on learning environment where you’ll leave with a few completed pieces—and a new love for working with clay. 25lbs of clay + shelf space + all tools + all glazing + all firing fees included! All students will have the ability to attend open studios which occur almost every Sunday 3 - 7pm.
